In Spring 2025 Rum 138 is hosting a festival celebrating the mesmerizing beauty and mystical wonder of merfolk. The festival includes nature, music, flora, and fauna. This magical gathering of Merfolk features live entertainment, shopping at Mermaid-centric vendor village, conch-blowing, trips to rum island, photo-booths, and a fantastical Merfolk Parade. There will be at least two musical performances each day and other eclectic talent. Saturday, the Tom Smith Band opens the show with music from the heart. Soak up the sunshine and the energizing tunes of the Billy Gilmore Electric Band. Sunday, stay on for George Tortorelli--a notable woodwind musician-- of the etheric band Medicine Wind with Flintblade, then Weeds of Eden takes the stage for the closing set.

The Rum 138 bar will be open, offering a variety of delicious, high-quality drinks. A blend of premium frozen strawberries and Pino Grigio creates our famous wine slushies. Local craft beers, featuring Gainesville's own First Magnitude Brewery, and beer specials. Both days will have Sweet Treats, Mimi's Treats, Cosmic Snowcones & Hot Diggity Dogs, and White Buffalo sandwiches. On Sunday, we have Eddy's Patty and Bambi's Cafe will be serving up authentic vegan food. Snacks and drinks also available in-store. No outside drink.

Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket for festival type arrangements. Bring your own water bottle for free, cold water. For yoga participants bring a yoga mat.
