Meet the Mermaids at Rum138's Merfolk Fest

Mermaid Michi is the Guardian of the Waters of the World. Her mission is to bridge the gap between the underwater world and humanity, inspiring people to restore and protect the Earth's most precious natural resource—water. Her passion for conservation fuels her activism, making her a key player in the fight to save Florida's freshwater ecosystems.

Chelsea is a tropical mermaid specializing in mermaid performance. She is a PADI certified mermaid and mermaid instructor with a passion for ocean conservation. With freediving and scuba diving certifications as well, she uses every excuse to be in the water as much as possible! She even wrote a book, There's No Such Thing as Mermaids, to teach people all about what being a real life mermaid means! Chelsea is also fluent in American Sign Language.

Roya, The Caspian Mermaid, is a Persian-American mermaid who swims to us from the waters of the Caspian Sea! Passionate about helping to preserve our Waters she hopes to inspire all who meet her to do their part in reducing the consumption of single use plastics and also helping to clean up at your local beaches or parks. Roya loves to hear about human adventures and learn about all of the land animals humans so often get to interact with! Swing on by and tell Roya all about your favorite color or animal, she'll be happy you didl   

 Mermaid Emmy loves to swim with all the amazing sea creatures in the ocean! Her favorite fish to see is the Pufferfish because they have really big eyes and a cute personality. You can often find Mermaid Emmy in the ocean or Florida springs splashing around. Emmy loves her wildlife friends and is passionate about educating her community on the importance of protecting our environment.   

Mermaid Sirenella, a mystical Latina mermaid, washed up on the shores of Florida and has been exploring the wonders of land ever since. With a signature purple tail that shimmers like the twilight waves, she enchants audiences through mesmerizing underwater performances and magical mermaid-themed events. Blending the grace of the sea with a passion for fitness, she embodies strength, beauty, and fluidity both in and out of the water. An adventurous spirit at heart, Sirenella loves to explore new places, try new things, and embrace every experience with curiosity and wonder. Rooted in her vibrant cultural heritage, she brings storytelling and energy to every splash, proving that mermaids aren’t just legends—they’re real, and they shine in their own unique way.
